Humour Aveugle

Gala Humour Aveugle is a Québec-based comedy event organized by Productions Humour Aveugle to support and raise awareness of the Fondation des Aveugles du Québec. Since 2004, the galas have brought together audiences’ love of comedy and generosity, presenting more than three hours of live entertainment with established comedians and emerging performers. Each event features more than eight comedians and is held once or twice a year, across one or two evenings.

The galas now take place at Théâtre St-Denis in Montréal, following earlier presentations at the Gesù and the Olympia. Buying a ticket offers an evening of comedy while helping introduce the foundation’s work to a wider public and support its ongoing activities. The foundation provides recreational activities for young people with visual impairments, helps people with visual impairments find housing, promotes prevention and awareness, and supports projects that assist people with low vision.

Over its history, Gala Humour Aveugle has presented dozens of evenings and invited many comedians, reaching audiences throughout Québec
