A Magyar Orvostanhallgatók Szövetsége több mint 30 éve fogja össze a hazai orvostanhallgatókat és segíti munkájával a különféle egészségügyi és egyéb szervezeteket. Tagegyesületeink számos helyi és országos rendezvényen képviseltetik magukat, ahol a programok jellegének megfelelően egészségügyi állapotfelméréssel, életmód tanácsadással, előadásokkal, Teddy Maci Kórház foglalkozással várják az érdeklődőket. Célunk a lakosság minél nagyobb rétegének széleskörű felvilágosítása, egészségnevelése, melynek érdekében szívesen teszünk eleget minden megkeresésnek és felkérésnek.

About Hungarian Medical Students’ International Relations Committee
HuMSIRC is a non-profit, public-service organization dedicated to supporting medical students in Hungary. As the largest national student association, we bring together approximately 800 medical students from all across the country. We are proud to be a full member of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), the largest global youth organization recognized by the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
HuMSIRC consists of four local committees located in Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, and Pécs, each offering undergraduate medical education. The work of these committees is coordinated by the National Committee, comprised of fourteen members. Our organization engages in a wide range of activities.
In addition to our extensive preventive health work, we focus on organizing international professional and scientific exchange programs. Our Teddy Bear Hospital program, designed specifically for preschool and elementary school children, has gained popularity. Through this program, children become familiar with basic medical instruments, and they can even heal specially designed teddy bears.
We are delighted that Hungary is becoming an increasingly popular destination for medical exchange programs. Each year, we offer the opportunity for nearly 250 Hungarian medical students to spend four weeks on a practice exchange in almost any country in the world. This experience not only promotes professional development but also provides a chance to practice foreign languages and build lifelong friendships with young people from other countries.
As part of our preventive health work, we offer educational presentations on health promotion, reproductive health, and transplantation to interested schools and organizations. Our local committees actively participate in local screening events and programs, contributing to public health education.
