Hundeheim Karlsruhe

The Begegnungsstätte Mensch-Hund e.V. is a dog shelter and animal welfare organisation based in Karlsruhe-Knielingen, Germany. It supports dogs in need and helps them find suitable homes through its adoption and placement services. Prospective adopters can learn about available dogs, the adoption process and important considerations before welcoming a dog into their household. The organisation also provides placement assistance and shares information about dogs already rehomed.

Beyond adoption, Begegnungsstätte Mensch-Hund offers dog boarding and seeks foster homes for dogs requiring temporary care. Supporters can contribute through sponsorships, monetary donations, PayPal, donated goods and collection boxes. The website also features news, events, videos, a newsletter, practical information such as vaccination guidance, and tributes to dogs remembered through its Rainbow Bridge section. Visitors can find contact and location details and arrange adoption appointments by email, including a telephone number for a return call. The shelter observes a daily midday rest period and is closed on Sundays.
