Hundehilfe Rheinland

Hundehilfe Rheinland e.V. is a non-profit animal welfare organisation focused on rescuing street dogs in Romania and helping them find permanent homes. Supported by private donations, the group brings dogs to private shelters, where they receive food, medical care and protection from abuse. Before travelling to their new homes, dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and provided with a passport; the organisation says they are prepared for travel once healthy.

Through its adoption programme, Hundehilfe Rheinland presents dogs of different ages and backgrounds, including puppies, adult dogs and seniors, as well as animals living in foster care in Germany or shelters abroad. Its website shares information about dogs currently available for adoption and invites visitors to learn about their stories. The organisation also welcomes donations from people who cannot adopt but would still like to help support its work. Hundehilfe Rheinland’s services centre on rescue, care and rehoming, connecting dogs in need with people willing to offer them a safe and loving home.
