Hunter's Moon Kennel

Hunter’s Moon Kennel is a Small Munsterlander breeder focused on producing healthy, stable, versatile dogs for active hunting homes. Inspired by the October Hunter’s Moon and the traditions of upland bird and waterfowl hunting, the kennel prioritizes dogs suited to field work and life with their owners. Its breeding program follows the Small Munsterlander Club of North America breed standard and requires appropriate hip evaluations: an OFA rating of good or excellent, or a PennHIP distraction index below .50. Both parents must also excel in NAVHDA testing and be proven wild-bird hunters who are readily trainable.

Hunter’s Moon Kennel offers puppies from planned litters and shares updates and photo galleries documenting their growth, from birth through later puppy stages. The site also features information about available and started dogs, the kennel’s own dogs, and hunting and training. Support continues after placement: the kennel assists buyers with raising and training their puppy and with natural ability testing.
