Ontario Minor Hockey

Huron-Bruce Minor Hockey Association (HBMHA) is a community-based organization providing minor hockey programs in the Huron-Bruce area of Ontario. Its teams serve players across a range of age groups and divisions, including U7, U8/U9, U11, U13, and girls’ hockey, with additional teams such as the 86ers and Huron-Bruce Blizzards. The association supports participants through registration, team formation, games, practices, and tournaments, and shares schedules, results, standings, venue information, and open-ice availability to help families and teams plan their season.

HBMHA also provides resources for coaches, trainers, players, and parents. These include coaching and trainer applications, qualification guidance, education materials, equipment information, medical forms, and vulnerable-sector check resources. Safety and player well-being are central to its materials, which cover concussion awareness, Rowan’s Law, dressing-room policies, and fair play. The association publishes news and event updates, offers access to relevant hockey courses, and connects members with referee resources and organizational contacts. Through its programs and guidance, HBMHA helps local players participate in organized hockey while supporting the volunteers and families who make the season possible.
