Huset Molgaard

Huset Mølgaard is a Danish residential and day-service provider for adults with special needs, founded in 2021 by Pia and Lars Mølgaard Madsen. Established as a non-commercial foundation, it aims to create a safe, caring and homelike community where residents can feel they belong. Support is tailored to each person, guided by the values of recognition, collaboration and homeliness.

The home in Stenderup-Krogager, near Grindsted, accommodates up to 12 residents in private apartments, with accessible features such as ceiling lifts where needed. Its day programme includes protected employment, activities and social opportunities. Shared spaces include a lounge, activity room, sensory garden, exercise and sensory rooms, terraces and outdoor areas.

Daily life may involve exercise, music, dancing, singing, games, walks and cycling, while residents can also enjoy privacy in their own apartments. The in-house kitchen provides nutritious meals adapted to individual dietary and texture requirements. Huset Mølgaard also welcomes family involvement and works to provide both pedagogical and health-related support.
