About HVAF
HVAF, or Helping Veterans and Families, is a brand dedicated to improving the lives of homeless veterans and their families. With a mission to provide supportive housing, employment opportunities, food, clothing, and more, HVAF aims to help veterans return to self-sufficiency. Through partnerships with the U.
S. Department of Veteran's Affairs and various community organizations, HVAF offers housing and re-integration services for homeless veterans, as well as programs to prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless. HVAF's services include temporary housing for over 120 veterans each night, affordable permanent supportive housing for 47 units, short-term rental and utility assistance for veterans and their families, workforce development assistance such as resume creation and interview preparation, and a pantry providing clothing, hygiene items, and food to all veterans in need.
