Hvaler Volleyballklubb

Hvaler Volleyballklubb is a community sports club based at Hvalerhallen in Vesterøy, Norway. It offers indoor volleyball during the winter and sand volleyball in summer, with activities for children, teenagers and adults. The club’s main focus is players aged 7 to 19, who can join mini-volleyball and youth teams competing in tournaments and youth leagues.

For the 2025/2026 season, active groups include mini-volleyball, girls’ under-17 and under-19 teams, and a boys’ under-17 team. The club also has a women’s senior team competing in the fourth division in Region East, as well as an adult recreational group offering low-threshold volleyball for exercise and enjoyment. Groups may change from year to year, and interested players are encouraged to make contact even if their age group is not listed.

In summer, members gather for sand-volleyball games and an annual tournament on Akerøya. Training is led by coaches with Norwegian Volleyball Federation qualifications, and the club supports young coaches through courses, conferences and practical experience.
