Handwerkskammer Ulm

Handwerkskammer Ulm is the statutory self-governing body representing the interests of more than 19,500 craft businesses across the Ostalbkreis, Heidenheim, Alb-Donau-Kreis, the city of Ulm, Biberach, Ravensburg and the Bodenseekreis. It supports businesses, apprentices and people pursuing careers in the skilled trades through a broad range of services.

For employers, the Chamber offers advice on business management, legal matters, recruitment, international skilled workers, technology, energy and environmental issues, and succession planning. It also provides membership and registration services, business exchanges, expert services, and access to a customer portal and specialist job boards.

Education and training are central to its work. The Chamber helps people find apprenticeships, supports training companies and apprentices, coordinates examinations, and provides guidance on qualification recognition. Through its Bildungsakademie, it offers courses, continuing education and preparation for master craftsman examinations, alongside information about funding. The organization also hosts events and seminars, publishes the Deutsche Handwerks Zeitung, and promotes the interests and visibility of the regional craft sector through public information and advocacy.
