HX-Terraristik is a Germany-based terrarium specialist operated by Mike Dargel, creating enclosures for a range of animal-keeping needs. Its catalogue includes standard terrariums and designs for chameleons, frogs, insects, spiders, and day geckos. Customers who do not find a suitable model can request a made-to-order terrarium, with options for individual dimensions, equipment, and appearance.
Each enclosure is handcrafted to customer requirements in the company’s own workshop rather than produced through automated mass manufacturing. HX-Terraristik displays current prices transparently on its website and explains that it generally does not offer discounts, reflecting the bespoke workmanship involved. The business also shares information about terrarium-related events and fairs it attends.
Customers may collect orders at the workshop or at an event attended by the company. For safety reasons, terrariums are not shipped by freight carrier. Instead, HX-Terraristik can arrange personal delivery, currently priced at €1.
