HYam is an association founded in 2014 by journalist Pauline Simons to support emerging artists from Mediterranean countries. Their mission is to provide assistance to these artists in promoting their work on the international stage and gaining visibility through various initiatives and events in both France and Greece.

Over the years, HYam has organized and funded multiple editions focused on young Mediterranean art scenes, including Greece, Cyprus, and Morocco. This includes a prize of €10,000 awarded in Paris by an international jury, an exhibition, and the production of a public artwork in Hydra.

In recent years, the association has shifted its focus to multiple artists and summer projects, choosing Hydra, Greece as the ideal location for visual dialogues. Hydra, with its rich history, well-preserved architecture, and cultural programming, has become a prominent cultural hub in Greece.

HYam is dedicated to showcasing the works of undervalued female artists in an international art market that is predominantly male-dominated. With their commitment to supporting emerging talents, HYam is making a positive impact on the Mediterranean art scene.
