About Hycamite
Hycamite TCD Technologies Ltd is a privately-owned company based in Kokkola, Finland, specializing in the commercialization of technology developed by European universities. Our focus lies in the production of clean hydrogen and industrial-quality solid carbon through a proprietary zero-emission technology called thermo-catalytic decomposition (TCD) of methane molecules. Unlike traditional electrolysis methods, our process requires only 13% of the energy and produces zero emissions.
With a disruptive and IP-protected methane pyrolysis process, we enable the production of low-carbon or even carbon-negative hydrogen. Our solution allows for the creation of carbon sinks and offers clients carbon suitable for demanding applications like Li-ion batteries, electronics, polymers, composite materials, and concrete manufacturing.
