Hydrogen Egypt (H²Egypt) is an international association dedicated to promoting the use of hydrogen in Egypt and advancing it as a key solution for achieving a zero-emission society. Collaborating with over 400 international hydrogen technology companies, investment funds, regions, and associations, Hydrogen Egypt works across the entire value chain of the global hydrogen ecosystem. Their strategic objectives include advocating for hydrogen technologies to policymakers, supporting the COP21 Paris agreement, developing and adopting cost-effective hydrogen technologies in Egypt, facilitating knowledge exchange between international and Egyptian companies and universities, and attracting public and private funding to Egypt.

They also aim to promote hydrogen trade between Egypt and international markets, establish hydrogen infrastructure, and position Egypt as a climate and hydrogen champion. With a focus on natural and green hydrogen, Hydrogen Egypt is committed to achieving the climate targets of the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. By leveraging hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy carrier, they drive the transition to net-zero emission societies and contribute to Egypt's economic growth while reducing its reliance on fossil fuels
