HydroRepo

HydroRepo develops hydrologic modelling tools for catchment analysis and runoff routing, including QMydro and Mydro. Its offerings support users working with terrain, rainfall, and catchment data, with software available as a QGIS plugin or standalone applications.

QMydro is a catchment analysis tool that can be used within QGIS or as a standalone executable. Its workflow begins with a digital elevation model covering the catchment. Users can account for hydraulic controls such as culverts by enforcing them through the DEM with a carving-enforcements shapefile, then define an outlet by digitizing a line across the channel cross-section. HydroRepo provides downloads for QGIS 3 and QGIS 4, older versions in an archive, and a user manual.

Mydro is a standalone hydrologic runoff-routing model designed around CSV data. It supports rainfall data from a CSV database, as well as rating curves, storages, and catchment datafiles. HydroRepo offers subscription options and invites prospective users to email to arrange a trial. Tutorials and other resources are available through its website.
