Hyggie Yoga offers yoga classes in Dommartin, La Tour de Salvagny, Lyon and the surrounding western Lyon area. Founded and taught by Céline Rivière, a yoga instructor certified by the French-speaking and International Yoga Federation, the practice draws on traditional Indian Hatha yoga and the Viniyoga tradition. Its adaptable approach uses awareness of the body and breath to guide movement and posture, welcoming people of different ages, bodies and needs.
Sessions are available individually, in small groups and for businesses or local organisations. One-to-one classes in Dommartin provide tailored support, including help with physical difficulties and developing an independent practice. Group sessions accommodate two to ten people and can take place at home, at work or in Dommartin. Workplace and community classes are offered for groups of up to eight in Lyon and western Lyon, bringing a wellbeing activity to teams.
