HymnQuest

The HymnQuest Project, established by The Pratt Green Trust in the 1990s, serves as a comprehensive database for hymns and worship songs. Spearheaded by joint general editors Revd Dr Andrew Pratt and Revd Dr Janet Wootton, the project commenced with the publication of "HymnQuest: A Dictionary of Hymnody" in 1997. Since then, it has evolved to include a software version, regularly updated since 2000, and a mobile-friendly Web App introduced with version 17.0 in 2015, enhancing accessibility for users.

The Pratt Green Trust, a charity founded in 1984 by the renowned Methodist hymn writer Fred Pratt Green, is dedicated to utilizing the income generated from his hymns to support hymn-related projects and resources. HymnQuest perfectly aligns with the Trust's mission by addressing needs within the hymnody community that might otherwise remain unmet. Offering a unique collection of literary resources and digital tools, HymnQuest represents a vital resource for hymn enthusiasts, songwriters, and worship leaders alike.
