Hynstewille

Hynstewille is a pony club and riding association based in Appelscha, founded in 1965. Its name means “horse fun,” reflecting the club’s central aim: making equestrian sport enjoyable. Although small, Hynstewille is active across a range of riding disciplines and welcomes both competitive and recreational riders.

The association offers weekly lessons throughout the year at Manege RCA in Appelscha, alternating between dressage and show jumping. To support focused instruction, lessons are limited to five horse-and-rider combinations. Members can also take part in competition riding in dressage, show jumping and eventing. Additional activities include trail rides, camping weekends, friendly in-house competitions and barbecues.

Hynstewille periodically arranges extra dressage and jumping instruction with guest instructors and riders, alongside its regular club lessons. Prospective members and visitors are welcome to get acquainted or join a trial lesson on Tuesday evenings. The club invites those interested in joining to complete its membership application form; enquiries can be directed to its chair, Letty Hilverda.
