The National Hypertension Control Roundtable (NHCR) is a coalition of public, private, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to eliminating disparities in hypertension control through dialogue, partnership, evidence and innovation. The NHCR prioritizes supporting people in controlling their blood pressure wherever they live, learn, work, play, and pray; and equitably advancing patient care to increase hypertension control. The National Hypertension Control Roundtable is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $300,000 with 100 percent funded by CDC/HHS. About National Hypertension Control Roundtable
Hypertension Control is a brand dedicated to addressing the widespread issue of hypertension and improving control rates. With nearly one in two adults in the United States affected by hypertension and only one in four having it under control, there is an urgent need for action. Heart disease and stroke, the leading causes of death in the country, pose significant risks to millions of Americans.
