— IHistory

Я История (IHistory) is a genealogy platform that helps people research their family history, with a focus on Russian and post-Soviet records. Users can build and edit interactive family trees, collaborate with relatives, and search a database of more than 50 million people and records from over 100 archives. Its AI assistant analyzes family information to create a personalized, step-by-step research plan, suggest possible matches, and help locate ancestors. The service also automatically fills out requests to archives and other institutions, reducing paperwork for users.

Additional tools include facial photo search, family-tree export in PDF and GEDCOM formats, and import from other genealogy programs. IHistory offers free and paid plans with different limits on family trees, cloud storage, and AI recommendations. A premium research subscription is also available, in which professional genealogists investigate a family and add findings, documents, and photographs to the tree. The platform supports shared editing and states that it protects personal data with access controls and security measures.
