I-90 Wildlife Watch

I-90 Wildlife Watch is a community-driven initiative aimed at monitoring wildlife along Interstate 90 (I-90) in Washington’s Snoqualmie Pass region. This project encourages motorists to report their wildlife sightings, contributing valuable data in a critical conservation effort. The I-90 corridor runs through the Cascade Mountains, making it an essential route for wildlife movement. Partnered with organizations like the I-90 Wildlife Bridges Coalition and the Western Transportation Institute, I-90 Wildlife Watch seeks to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and improve the safety of both wildlife and travelers.

By participating, volunteers contribute to the collection of crucial information that aids in planning and implementing wildlife passage solutions. The initiative not only fosters awareness about the local ecosystem but also encourages responsible driving habits. Whether you encounter wildlife while driving or wish to stay informed about the coalition's ongoing projects, I-90 Wildlife Watch welcomes your involvement and insights to protect and enhance the natural environment along this vital highway.
