IAC126

IAC126, also known as the Buffalo Wings, is the New York Chapter of the International Aerobatic Club. The chapter brings together pilots and enthusiasts who share an interest in aerobatic flying, and welcomes new members as well as visitors who want to stay connected or attend a meeting. Its activities include organizing aerobatic competitions, coordinating practice opportunities, and supporting pilots through instruction, feedback, and the exchange of aviation knowledge.

IAC126’s Bill Thomas U.S./Canada Aerobatic Challenge in Olean, New York, featured competitors across Sportsman, Intermediate, and Advanced categories, flying a wide range of aircraft. The chapter also recognizes the contributions of aerobatic pioneers and supports efforts to honor their legacy. Volunteers help run events, from setting up the aerobatic course and managing registration to judging and coordinating pilots. Meetings offer a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts, with Buffalo wings a much-loved tradition. Through competitions, shared learning, and social gatherings, IAC126 helps sustain an active local community around aerobatic aviation.
