About The IACP
The Law Enforcement Cyber Center is a collaborative project of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF). Funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, at the U. S.
Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, the Cyber Center aims to enhance the awareness, expand the education, and build the capacity of justice and public safety agencies to prevent, investigate, prosecute, and respond to cyber threats and cyber crimes. The Cyber Center provides valuable resources and information for police chiefs, law enforcement officers, digital forensic investigators, detectives, prosecutors, and relevant justice and public safety entities. It addresses three principal functional areas: cybercrime investigations, digital forensics, and information systems security.
Additionally, the Cyber Center actively supports BJA’s efforts to improve outreach to law enforcement and public safety agencies with information about how to prevent, respond to, and investigate cyber threats and cyber crime
