InterAction

InterAction is a children’s theatre company in Saint John, New Brunswick, operating since 2001. Located at 170 Germain Street, the organization offers performing arts classes for young people, from beginners to advanced students, with multiple performance opportunities each year. Its programs are designed to help children and teens develop creativity, confidence, collaboration, and stage skills in a supportive environment.

Classes include play-based Kinder Musical Theatre and KinderACT for ages 4–6, musical theatre for ages 7–18, and acting programs ranging from welcoming beginner classes to more focused conservatory training. Students can explore singing, dance, acting, improvisation, storytelling, voice, movement, and character development. For dedicated performers ages 12–18, the audition-only Advanced Performance Company provides training in acting, singing, and dance while preparing a full-length musical production.

InterAction also offers summer camps and community programming. Its classes welcome participants with varying levels of experience, while advanced options provide greater challenge and commitment. Through creative learning and ensemble performance, the organization gives young people opportunities to explore the performing arts and grow as performers.
