IALDF

The Iranian American Legal Defense Fund (IALDF) is a national organization dedicated to empowering, protecting, and defending Iranian Americans. Its mission is to strengthen the community’s rights, expand opportunities, and foster inclusion so that Iranian Americans can participate fully in society and help shape a more just and prosperous future. IALDF works to safeguard civil and political rights, combat discrimination, and support pathways to education and economic success through advocacy, legal assistance, and community engagement.

The organization focuses on challenges including immigration and visa issues, social, political, and economic rights, profiling and surveillance, hate crimes, and discrimination. It also seeks to support people in need and advocate for the community when rights are challenged. IALDF builds partnerships with attorneys, judges, community leaders, organizations, donors, and other supporters. People can get involved by providing pro bono legal services, collaborating with the fund, contributing financially, volunteering, or staying informed about its activities.
