About IASSL
Welcome to the Institute of Applied Statistics, Sri Lanka (IASSL). We are the only professional organization dedicated to promoting and advancing the field of Statistics in Sri Lanka. Our goal is to support research, planning, development, education, and training in this important area.
Established in 2011 by the Parliament of Sri Lanka, IASSL is the successor to the Applied Statistics Association, Sri Lanka (ASASL), which was founded in 1999. We are proud to be a member of the Organization of Professional Associations (OPA) in Sri Lanka.
