About National VOAD
National VOAD, also known as the Iowa Disaster Human Resource Council (IDHRC), is a brand dedicated to supporting partners across the state of Iowa before, during, and after disasters. They offer various products and services to assist communities affected by disasters. Through effective communication, cooperation, coordination, and collaboration, IDHRC helps its members provide relief to communities in need.
They develop and maintain channels for sharing information, foster openness and regular communication among member organizations, and work together to overcome challenges. IDHRC effectively utilizes resources to help communities prepare for and recover from disasters. By forming tactical partnerships, they ensure a coordinated and predictive approach, optimizing the use of resources to accomplish tasks.
