Igreja Batista Metropolitana

Igreja Batista Metropolitana (IBAM) is a Christian community based in the Imbuí neighborhood of Salvador, Bahia. Its mission is to lead people to worship God with joy and understanding, sharing the presence of God and the love of Jesus Christ. The church describes its vision as loving God, worshipping Him, obeying the Bible, and serving through respect and care for others.

IBAM offers regular worship services, including Sunday gatherings at several times and a Thursday evening service focused on prayer, worship, and biblical teaching. Services are held at the church and are also available on YouTube. Its Sunday School provides opportunities to explore biblical themes and discuss questions together. Programs for children include a nursery, Ibam Kids, and a Bible club.

For community and fellowship, the church organizes small groups that encourage unity, compassion, and generosity, and invites people to serve through its ministries. Its activities also include missions and social initiatives, alongside events such as benefit dinners and training sessions.
