About IBCSD
IBCSD | Jakarta is the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development. As a CEO-led association, they are committed to promoting sustainable development and using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as their guiding principles. They offer a range of programs and projects to target the realization of the SDGs and achieve systems transformation.
One of their key programs is the Green Lifestyle Initiative, which supports responsible consumption and production (SDG 12). Through this initiative, IBCSD has developed strategies and action plans, and engaged 13 companies in their journey towards sustainable business. Additionally, IBCSD is actively involved in the preservation and restoration of tropical forests through their partnership with the Tropical Forest Alliance 2020.
They recognize the critical role forests play in averting climate change and achieving global goals, such as food security and water security. With a focus on circular economy, cities and mobility, climate and energy, food and nature, people and society, and redefining value, IBCSD is driving positive change towards a sustainable future
