Iberê Camargo

Fundação Iberê Camargo is a private, nonprofit cultural institution based in Porto Alegre, Brazil, dedicated to promoting the work of artist Iberê Camargo in Brazil and abroad. Through exhibitions, educational initiatives and public programming, the foundation connects visitors with visual art, photography and cinema. Its exhibition program includes presentations devoted to Iberê Camargo, as well as artists such as Pedro Escosteguy and filmmaker and photographer Agnès Varda. The foundation also shares news and editorial content about its exhibitions and activities.

Visitors can explore the institution’s collection and take part in educational programs, including activities designed to encourage observation, experimentation, creation and exchange. The foundation works with schools and public education initiatives to bring students into contact with the cultural space. On-site visits are available Thursday through Sunday, with free admission on Thursdays and on the last weekend of each month; mediated visits can be arranged. The institution also offers a shop and opportunities for visitors to support its work as donors, sponsors or volunteers.
