Pengurus Pusat Ikatan Bidan Indonesia

Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI) Cabang Balikpapan is the official local branch of Indonesia’s professional midwives’ association, based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. IBI brings midwives together and supports their professional development through education, practice standards, and professional ethics, with the broader aim of contributing to maternal and child health across Indonesia. The Balikpapan branch’s website connects members and visitors with organizational information, including its history, vision and mission, leadership, membership, and professional identity.

The site also shares news, announcements, research updates, training opportunities, agendas, and photo galleries. Featured activities and topics include professional meetings, leadership appointments, certificates and recognition, and training for those involved in delivering professional education. National IBI updates highlight scientific gatherings, digital-era challenges in midwifery, and advocacy on behalf of midwives, including issues affecting those employed as civil servants. The website serves as an information hub for the branch and its professional community, helping midwives stay informed about organizational activities and opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and practice.
