Biosfera

IBIOS – Instituto Biosfera is an environmental organization dedicated to caring for Brazil’s Atlantic Forest and the living beings that depend on it. Its mission is to help build a fairer, more sustainable and healthier world, where society and nature coexist in harmony. The institute focuses on environmental conservation and the restoration of degraded areas, while also promoting environmental education and broader socio-environmental projects.

Recognizing the Atlantic Forest as one of the world’s most diverse forests, home to many endemic plant and animal species, IBIOS develops initiatives intended to protect this important ecosystem and support the preservation of life. Its work is guided by a team with varied professional and academic backgrounds, bringing experience in sustainability, biology, education, management and environmental practice.

IBIOS also emphasizes collaboration, inviting individuals and organizations to support its mission through donations and partnerships. By connecting conservation, restoration, education and community-minded action, the institute works to strengthen the relationship between people and nature and expand the impact of its environmental projects.
