IBRATEC, the Brazilian Institute for Socio-Environmental Responsibility, Science, Technology and Innovation, is an organization focused on social impact through sport, education, citizenship, health and professional development. Its projects aim to connect participation in sport with personal well-being, civic engagement and greater financial autonomy. The institute works with children, adolescents and older adults through initiatives in sports and leisure, community health, and professional training.
Examples include Copa das Estrelas do Futuro, an educational sports project that has benefited 1,628 children and adolescents; Movimento Saúde 60+, which has provided 500 preventive health appointments; and Projeto Bem Viver, supporting active, healthy living for 7,500 older adults. IBRATEC also emphasizes accountable project delivery and public access to information. It publishes institutional documents, financial execution details, project targets and auditable reports through its transparency portal, and states that its practices comply with Brazil’s MROSC law and ADPF 854.
Through these programs and transparent management, the institute presents its work as a practical contribution to community well-being and opportunity
