O Instituto Brasileiro de Mineração (IBRAM) é uma entidade privada, sem fins lucrativos, que representa o setor mineral brasileiro, atuando para fortalecer a competitividade, os negócios e o desenvolvimento sustentável da mineração. Fundado em 1976, o IBRAM é reconhecido por sua atuação ética e técnica, sendo considerado o porta-voz da Mineração Brasileira. Reúne mais de 130 associados, entre mineradoras, entidades de classe, empresas de engenharia, geologia, tecnologia e instituições financeiras ligadas ao setor. O Instituto promove debates, estudos e eventos para incentivar inovação, boas práticas, segurança, sustentabilidade ambiental e social, além de atuar junto aos poderes públicos, à sociedade e a organismos internacionais, como o ICMM, para fortalecer a confiança na mineração responsável.

About IBRAM
