About IBS Fundacja Naukowa
IBS Fundacja Naukowa, also known as Instytut Badań Strukturalnych (IBS), is an independent and apolitical non-profit scientific foundation based in Warsaw. Since its establishment in 2006, IBS has been dedicated to conducting important research in the fields of economics and other social sciences, with a particular focus on labor economics, demography, and energy transformation. Through academic and applied research, IBS explores the economic and social implications of its work, paying special attention to the significance for Central and Eastern European countries, as well as emerging economies undergoing transformation.
As a member of the international Network for Jobs and Development, IBS collaborates with leading institutions on global, European, and national projects. With its commitment to knowledge dissemination, IBS shares its research internationally, nationally, and locally. Additionally, IBS researchers are affiliated with renowned Polish academic institutions such as the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics
