IBSA, the Illinois Baptist State Association, is a partnership of nearly 1,000 churches, church plants, and mission congregations dedicated to spreading the gospel in Illinois and beyond. As an affiliate of the Southern Baptist Convention, IBSA and its member churches work together to advance their mission. IBSA offers a wide range of ministries and services to fulfill their goals.

They aim to develop effective leaders who can guide churches and ministries to higher levels of effectiveness. They inspire cooperation among Illinois Baptists through participation in the SBC Cooperative Program, promoting a strong Baptist identity. Their focus on church health and growth involves training churches in discipleship and improving ministries.

Additionally, IBSA mobilizes volunteers for evangelistic church planting and missions while also establishing cooperating Baptist churches throughout Illinois. IBSA consists of three main components: IBSA itself, the Baptist Foundation of Illinois, and Baptist Children's Home and Family Services. They also operate two camp facilities: Lake Sallateeska Baptist Camp and Streator Baptist Camp.

Through their commitment to the Cooperative Program, IBSA actively supports Southern Baptist work locally and globally. They collaborate with SBC missions sending agencies, such as the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board. With their dedicated board and committees, IBSA ensures efficient operations, resource development, and strategic planning.
