About Ibu Punya Mimpi
Ibu Punya Mimpi is a leading online learning platform in Jakarta, specifically designed to empower and support mothers in realizing their business dreams. With a focus on increasing mothers' business literacy, Ibu Punya Mimpi offers educational programs and a strong community to facilitate the growth and success of mother-owned businesses in Indonesia. Since its establishment in April 2020, Ibu Punya Mimpi has successfully reached over 2500 mothers from various provinces, including Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, and Flores.
Through their platform, they have also nurtured more than 70 new small-medium mother-owned businesses. Recognizing the socio-economic challenges faced by mothers, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ibu Punya Mimpi aims to provide better business literacy to mothers in rural areas by the year 2023. By offering a self-actualization platform for mothers, Ibu Punya Mimpi believes in empowering mothers to be happier and more effective in caring for their families.
Supporting women-owned small-medium enterprises (SMEs) is vital for the economic resilience of Indonesia. Studies have shown that women entrepreneurs play a significant role in supporting their families financially. However, mother-owned SMEs often face internal challenges such as balancing business responsibilities and family obligations, as well as limited business knowledge and skills.
Financial constraints, including limited access to loans from banks, add further hurdles to their growth. By bridging the gap between the importance of mother-owned SMEs and the challenges they face, Ibu Punya Mimpi aims to empower and uplift mothers, ultimately improving the lives of families across Indonesia. Through education and community support, they provide mothers with the tools and knowledge needed to grow successful businesses
