La fermeture juridique du Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire (GCS) ICANS | Institut de cancérologie Strasbourg Europe marque une étape majeure d’évolution vers un nouveau projet de prise en charge en cancérologie publique sur le territoire. À compter du 1er janvier 2026, le Centre de Lutte contre le Cancer Paul Strauss, désormais Institut Strauss, et les Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg proposent des offres de soins publiques en cancérologie distinctes. Bon à savoir Les deux structures continuent de vous accueillir sur le site de soins de l’ICANS, situé au 17 rue Albert Calmette à Strasbourg. À l’issue du 31 décembre 2025, chaque patient suivi à l’ICANS conservera, en fonction de son choix, son médecin référent. Il sera informé individuellement par l’établissement qui assurera la continuité de la prise en charge des éventuelles nouvelles modalités. ICANS, the Institut de cancérologie Strasbourg Europe, is a cancer-care site in Strasbourg that has served patients through a partnership involving the Centre de Lutte contre le Cancer Paul Strauss and the Strasbourg University Hospitals. The legal closure of the ICANS Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire marks a transition to a new arrangement for public cancer care in the region. From 1 January 2026, the two institutions provide separate public oncology care services: the Centre Paul Strauss, now called Institut Strauss, and the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg each have their own care offering and organisation.
Both institutions continue to welcome patients at the ICANS care site, at 17 rue Albert Calmette in Strasbourg. Patients previously followed at ICANS retain the choice of their referring physician. Each patient is to be informed individually by the institution responsible for continuing their care, including any changes to arrangements.
