About CARE STL
CARE STL is the established shelter for animals in the City of St. Louis, providing a safe haven for the homeless, abused, neglected, injured, and surrendered animals until they find loving homes. As the leading animal rescue organization in St.
Louis, CARE STL is committed to creating a caring community for both people and animals. Their services include adoption, fostering, and compassionate sheltering, ensuring that every animal receives the care they need. Through their dedicated staff, volunteers, and veterinarians, CARE STL strives to rescue and rehabilitate animals, offering medical assistance and enrichment for those in need.
CARE STL also plays a crucial role in promoting responsible pet guardianship and advocating for animal welfare. They work closely with the City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control, enforcing animal care and control regulations to protect the community from potentially dangerous strays.
Additionally, CARE STL aims to achieve the highest live release rate in the nation through innovative sheltering practices. Join the CARE STL community by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating. Together, we can create a more compassionate world for both people and pets
