ICC Karneval Cottbus e.V., the Interessengemeinschaft Cottbuser Carneval, is a Cottbus carnival association founded in 1983. Its members celebrate fun and good cheer through carnival events, performances and year-round community activities. The association holds Prunksitzungen and brings together a range of dance groups, including its youth and junior guards, Funkenmariechen, Prinzengarde, men’s ballet and the “Uniques” show ballet, with its next Generation and Grey Streaks groups. Members train throughout the year and perform beyond the carnival season.
ICC also takes part in community events and shares news and photographs from its activities. Recent highlights include a journey to New York to participate in the German-American Steuben Parade and an appearance at Cottbus’s Zug der fröhlichen Leute. The association has announced “Das vergessene Fest,” a Christmas dance show for audiences of all ages, scheduled for November 28 and 29, 2026, at the Waldorfschule’s festival hall. ICC welcomes new members who want to join in its carnival traditions and share the fun.
