About ICCWC
ICCWC is an international brand dedicated to strengthening criminal justice systems and combating wildlife and forest crime. The brand consists of a consortium of five inter-governmental organizations: the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Secretariat, INTERPOL, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the World Bank, and the World Customs Organization (WCO). ICCWC provides coordinated support at national, regional, and international levels to law enforcement agencies and networks involved in the protection of natural resources.
Their mission is to deter, detect, detain, and dismantle criminal networks engaged in wildlife and forest crime. ICCWC offers various tools and services, including their recently launched Biannual Report 2021-2022, Vision 2030, and Strategic Action Plan for 2023-2026. Through their work, ICCWC strives for a world free of wildlife crime, encompassing illegal trade, trafficking, possession, and consumption of wild fauna and flora.
