Ice Edge Skating Club

Ice Edge Skating Club is a Skate Canada-sanctioned skating club serving the Chestermere community. It offers programs for children, teens, adults, and skaters with special needs, with experienced and highly qualified coaches leading instruction. PreCanSkate and CanSkate introduce skaters aged three and up to fundamental skating skills that can support participation in figure skating, hockey, ringette, or recreational skating. Hockey and ringette skating skills classes provide training for young participants pursuing those sports, while teen and adult learn-to-skate and special-needs learn-to-skate programs extend access to different ages and needs.

For skaters looking to develop their figure skating, the club’s STARSkate program offers opportunities to build skills, with test and competitive options. The club also provides ice and facilities for off-ice training. Seasonal offerings include learn-to-skate programs, summer camps and classes, and additional coaching and ice time for developing skaters. Ice Edge is a member of True Sport and the Responsible Coaching Movement. Club members are also required to maintain an annual Chestermere Regional Community Association membership.
