Icelandic Down | Bakkagerði is a brand that specializes in sustainable eiderdown bedding, crafted with a passion for quality and a commitment to preserving natural environments. Inspired by the wild fjords of Loðmundarfjordur, our founder, Ragna, discovered two farmers, Oli and Johanna, who practiced traditional Icelandic eiderduck farming. Their stories and the beauty of Iceland's fjords motivated us to keep eiderdown manufacturing in Iceland.
Today, Icelandic Down produces some of the world's finest eiderdown bedding, sustainably manufactured in the picturesque village of Borgarfjörður Eystri.
