Ichigoichie Games says playtest Tactichord

Ichigoichie Games, stylized as 151A, is a game and media production house with around twenty years of experience developing music titles and authoring software in Japan and Sweden. Guided by a passion for sound, synthesis, and rhythm, the company creates experiences that combine music, play, and creative expression. Its headquarters are in Stockholm, and it collaborates with colleagues in Tokyo.

The studio’s titles include Tactichord, which blends turn-based tactics with music gameplay and lets players make lyrical and audio choices while shaping glam metal anthems; Backbeat, a puzzle and strategy game about guiding a band through time-based, sokoban-style challenges; and Hexagroove: Tactical DJ, a music game combining real-time strategy, rhythm, and action, available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC.

Ichigoichie also provides bespoke development services, including console porting, audio plugin development, middleware production, and content publishing. The company is developing a new title that explores the boundaries between gaming, art, and performance, and offers private beta access to early versions of its games.
