About Instituto de Cardiología Integral
The Instituto de Cardiología Integral (ICI) is a cardiologic IMAE that caters to individuals from public and private institutions nationwide, funded by the National Resources Fund. Established in Montevideo in 1986, ICI was initially focused on treating children with congenital heart conditions. Today, it provides comprehensive care to pediatric patients as well as adults with cardiovascular diseases, offering a range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
Recognized as a National Health Interest Institution, ICI operates under the provisions of law nº 14. 897 (National Resources Fund) and serves a population of up to 5,000,000. ICI's mission as a Highly Specialized Medical Institute is to concentrate expertise, talent, and technology to address complex cases, featuring modern facilities and a team of specialized professionals.
