ICOMOS Jordan is a national organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of cultural heritage places in Jordan. As a part of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), it is the only global non-government organization focused on the application of theory, methodology, and scientific techniques for the preservation of architectural and archaeological heritage. With a network of experts in various fields such as architecture, history, archaeology, and geography, ICOMOS Jordan works to improve the standards and techniques for preserving different types of cultural heritage properties, including buildings, historic cities, cultural landscapes, and archaeological sites.

ICOMOS Jordan aims to engage professionals and advocates of cultural heritage preservation in Jordan by building partnerships and enhancing cooperation. Through research and practice, they strive to improve the standards of heritage management and preservation. ICOMOS Jordan also actively strengthens its regional network and maintains close connections with its international family of committees.

With a vision to support and promote the conservation of Jordanian cultural heritage, they focus on awareness building, capacity building, consultation, research, and continuity of cultural heritage. As an advisory body, they provide guidance on heritage conservation to national organizations representing Jordan at regional and international venues.
