About ICWEAAt20
ICWEA (International Community of Women living with HIV Eastern Africa) is a regional advocacy network and membership-based organization. Their primary focus is to ensure that the voices and needs of HIV-positive women, especially young women, are taken into account in policies and programs related to HIV. They strive to use evidence from their own lived experiences to influence decision-making processes.
ICWEA aims to address various themes related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, including access to prevention, care, and treatment. They recognize the importance of meaningful involvement of women living with HIV in decision-making processes and work towards ending all forms of stigma and discrimination. Through their campaigns and projects, such as the FIERCE Campaign and the ECHO Trial results, ICWEA aims to create awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of women living with HIV.
They also provide opportunities for their members to engage in community-led monitoring and participate in events and conferences. If you're passionate about supporting the rights of women living with HIV and want to make a difference, ICWEA offers membership options for individuals to get involved and join their network. Get in touch with them today and become a part of their mission to empower and amplify the voices of women living with HIV in Eastern Africa
