Welcome to Icy Waves Surf Shop, based in the small village of Yakutat, Alaska. We are a family-run surf shop that caters to both local residents and adventurous visitors seeking to ride the waves of the Far North Pacific. Founded in 1999 by Jack and Laura Endicott, Icy Waves initially began as an outfitting store for their seven children and the local Yakutat surfers.

Over the years, we have gained recognition as a surfing destination, attracting surfers from all over the world. With our abundance of breaks and isolated location, you can experience incredible waves without overcrowding. In fact, Yakutat has been named one of the five best surf towns in America by Outside magazine and Alaska's surfing hub by Newsweek.

At Icy Waves, we offer surf rentals, surf weather and tides information, and a range of clothing and merchandise which can now be found at the Yakutat Lodge. Although we are currently closed for relocation, stay tuned for updates as we develop plans to accommodate limited sales and rentals.
