Inter Disciplinary Analysts (IDA) is a Kathmandu-based research and consultancy firm that was established in 1996. With a belief that development issues require research approaches that span various disciplines, IDA aims to provide effective policy synthesis by crossing boundaries. Initially focused on water and energy issues, IDA has shifted its focus to quantitative research approaches since 2004, specializing in household surveys and public opinion polls.

In addition to surveys on the political situation, IDA has expanded its scope to include safety and security, and the business climate of Nepal. By engaging with political parties, politicians, institutions, and the general public, IDA strives to create public discourse based on sound research methods. With a strong team of qualified researchers and numerous publications to its credit, IDA is committed to generating data and information that facilitates informed decision-making.
