IDAofCal

IDAofCal is the Infant Development Association of California, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to enhancing our early intervention service system. Established in 1983 through the merger of regional organizations in southern and northern California, IDAofCal has been providing statewide leadership in early intervention ever since. Comprised of professionals from various disciplines, agencies, service systems, and parents, IDAofCal aims to improve the lives of children and families by promoting transdisciplinary personnel and program standards for early intervention services.

With approximately 250 members and a State Board of Directors, IDAofCal drives its mission through conferences, newsletters, advocacy, and participation in statewide advisory committees on early intervention. They have also developed directories of early intervention services and position statements on service needs and emerging populations. By actively engaging in the planning process and collaborating with agencies and organizations, IDAofCal ensures that their voice is heard and that families receive the support they need.
